Only The Beginning…

There are days where your mind just isn’t quite there and the day after, you look back on it and think. “Why the hell did i…?”

Well. why did you? I have to say that buying this car was reeeeeally stupid. I could have waited and got the one i wanted or better yet, a running car. I have always been into cars since i was little. But it didnt really interest me until i was around 10 and I sat in my aunts room watching Initial D over summer. Im no Fanboi of it but i did like the series and it did get me thinking about why and how the car did this and that. Since then ive spent quite a lot of time on the internet reading car builds, discussions, but i never got hands on experience before. Which leads to the WHY i did it. $700 for a RX-7. DEAL!

The body was straight, No deadly rust, everything else in working order. All it needed was new parts and some time. This was my chance to learn to build and drift/track. Lucky for me I have a girl who loves cars just as much as me and is willing to help out :] (I love you PetraSaldate) When we woke up the night after trailering the car home we went right outside to see what exactly we were up against.

I unlocked the doors and the smell of mold and mildew crept out the car. The dash and…well fuck. Everything was covered in something. Popped the hood to see if the motor was salvageable…
